Workshops, exhibition & Art Award
moe.gallery invites you for the third time to WALL OF MiNDS
This year we are exploring the theme no age. Through workshops you are invited to explore time – as history, as development, as generations.
The joint exhibition WALL OF MiNDS brings together all the participants' works in a diverse and colorful picture of how no age can be experienced, understood and interpreted.

You will participate in a 2-hour workshop including all materials. We offer coffee, tea and snacks in the gallery's cozy and creative atmosphere.

Teacher: Camilla Siig (in english)
Date: 3rd September 6pm - 8pm
Guided by the sub-theme “Aarhus Festival – no age”, this workshop explores how time, memory, and perception can be translated into layered visual form.
Working with soft pastels, colour, and pencil, participants will build depth through transparent and opaque marks, moving between structured lines and intuitive, tactile blending. Each layer becomes both a trace of what has been and a step toward what is yet to come — echoing the festival’s theme of bridging generations and sharing time.
As inspiration, we will turn to planetary surfaces — landscapes shaped by erosion, growth, and transformation. These cosmic textures will guide participants in creating expressive drawings where chaos and order converge.

Date: 5th September 6pm-8pm
How do we tell something without saying it all? How can a gap, a pause or an unclear brushstroke open up new meanings?
In the workshop “Mind the gap” we work with watercolor as a living and unpredictable medium, where water is allowed to create distances, voids and connections. We investigate how pauses and gaps in the painting surface can be just as significant as the strong fields of color.
Participants are introduced to a number of techniques within watercolor – from transparent layers and fluid transitions to the conscious use of the white surface as an active element in the work. Along the way we play with the contrast between control and randomness, and we investigate how a story can emerge in what is not painted.

You will participate in a joint WALL OF MiNDS exhibition, which will be launched with a vernissage. You can invite family and friends for wine and bubbles.

On Saturday, September 6th, at 2-3 pm, you and all the other students will hold a joint vernissage.

I’m a self-taught mixed media artist inspired by organic forms and science fiction. My work blends anatomical, natural, and spiritual elements, exploring the space between reality and abstraction. With a background in music, neuroscience, and medicine, I balance clinical precision with dreamlike distortion to evoke awe and transformation.

I am a visual artist with a four-year degree from Aarhus. My work moves in the abstract field, where colors, shapes and dreams meet. Nature and its structures are a constant inspiration, and each work becomes an investigation into how the unpredictable can take shape on the canvas.
