About
Heidi Fisker’s artistic expression is driven by curiosity and a desire to experiment. Her work reflects her personal experiences and her understanding of the world around her. She frequently works with abstract paintings, exploring the relationship between colour, line, and space. These works invite reflection and interpretation, allowing viewers to form their own connections and meanings.
In recent years, she has expanded her artistic practice by developing an Aarhus series, featuring motifs inspired by the city. These urban elements influence the visual expression to varying degrees, creating works that reflect both the character of Aarhus and her distinctive artistic language while maintaining the abstract qualities that define much of her work.
Heidi Fisker incorporate laser-cut elements, metals, and a variety of other experimental materials and techniques into her works. By combining traditional artistic approaches with innovative processes, she explores new forms of expression and create pieces that challenge conventional boundaries. Her practice is characterized by a curiosity for materiality and textur resulting in works that are both visually engaging and conceptually driven.
She particularly enjoys observing how different people perceive and relate to her art, as each interpretation adds a new dimension to the viewing experience.
